My name is Becca Thompson and I am a senior student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Business Administration with areas of emphasis in marketing and entrepreneurship.

I would best describe myself as a creative dreamer. I am fascinated by the intersection of business and storytelling, and dazzle over the sheer magic that makes all of our favorite brands come to life.

Throughout college, I have been fortunate to apprentice under corporate business experts, luxury brand executives, and seasoned fashion and beauty industry professionals at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, Parsons Paris, and Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. I have also spent over five years working with Nurtur Aveda Institutes, an award-winning leader in cosmetology and esthetics postsecondary education, developing my skills in marketing, accounting, retail operations, and guest services. It is also at Nurtur Aveda Institute’s Chapel Hill location that I became a licensed beauty professional and went on to become a Professional Beauty Association Beacon Scholar.

Going forward, I seek to utilize my love for branding, my experiences in business, and my creative eye for beauty to contribute to a company’s growth and development.
